Think, Thank, Thunk

“Think in the morning.
Act in the noon.
Eat in the evening.
Sleep in the night."
- William Blake, The Marriage of Heaven and Hell

I do my best thinking either early in the morning when I'm driving to work or late at night when my insomnia gets the best of me. I wonder why that is. I guess because the middle of your day is usually the busiest, right? No time for idle thoughts and hands.

My brain tends to jump from thought to thought pretty randomly.  Which is why I am always writing stuff down. Because otherwise I would forget and remember the same thing over and over again and not get anything accomplished!  Hmmm. Middle-aged dementia. Probably not a good sign.

Some days I would really love to be able to read people's minds. And then I remember some of the things that I normally think about and realize that would probably NOT be a good thing.

Do you ever look at your kids and wonder what they could possibly be thinking? Or your husband? Or your dog? Or the guy in the car next to you at the traffic light?  Or Miley Cyrus? #iknowyoucantstopbutireallywishyouwouldstopmiley

Just... no.

Anyway, just checking in. Miss you guys. I know I've sucked terribly at blogging lately. I think it just kind of ebbs and flows, like all things in life.

Time to go put my thinking cap on. Sit down in our thinking chair and think, think, THINK! ;) Ciao.

  1. Oh how I wish I could read peoples minds, that would be awesome!
