I really wanna dance the night away...

A little over a week ago, Charlie and I went to the Honda Civic Tour in Bristow, VA.  Hubs and I haven't been to a concert together since like 2011 when we went to the Travis Tritt concert in our town. So naturally, we were super excited.

The opening act was Tony Lucca, from Mickey Mouse Club fame, but more recently, he was on Team Adam on The Voice. He did really well warming up the crowd.

Next was Kelly Clarkson. That girl got pipes, man. She can sing her buns off. But one thing that kept annoying me a little bit was that right before every song she sang she would say, "Oh, this next song is one of my favorites, but if you don't like it, oh well, because I do." Which I guess was her way of being funny, but she kept saying it a gazillion times and then it started to come off as rude. But hey, what do I know? :)

But then. Oh but then. Maroon 5 and my sweetie Adam Levine performed. They were AMAZING. Adam just moved from song to song to song without seeming to even breathe in between and the energy in the crowd was absolutely electric. They really know how to rock.
