Do You Want Me to Turn This Car Around?

Oh man.  Today was the day from you-know-where.  I mean, first of all, this chick has been visiting Cramp City all week, need-I-say-more.  So I already was not in the best of moods.  And then aliens decided to inhabit the bodies of my usually-sweet kids and turn them into these whining, crying, completely disobedient little people.

Oy vey.  So all of this was already going on at like 8am this morning.  And we desperately needed to go to the grocery store because we have nothing to eat except a half a bag of grapes and some Greek yogurt (which I've recently discovered that I love Oikos, but cannot stomach Chobani! Does anybody else feel this way? OK, sorry, I digress).

The whole car ride to the store was filled with tears and whining and yelling.  It was not pretty.  We get out of the car, walk into the grocery store, and I start putting Will in the cart.  And he and Dom both are just crying and whining, for no reason at all, and I just had this moment of thinking "I NEED TO GET OUT OF HERE NOW."

I turned to Charlie and said, "I cannot do this today. I can't. We need to go home." And he looked at me for a second and was like "Just put Will in the cart." And I said, "No, we are going home. I am not doing this today." And I think I may have scared him a little bit, haha, but he didn't ask any questions or say anything else, he just helped me get the kids back in the car.

Dear aliens, please return my children to me.  Another day like today and I may need to take up day drinking.  Again.

  1. Oh friend! I'm so sorry. Feel free to take a personal day tomorrow and start that day drinking. And as far as the yogurt goes, if I liked Greek yogurt I would sure give Uncle Jesse's brand a try too.

  2. Greek yogurt is guh-ross to me. Yet I give M chobani yogurt every morning because it's supposed to be healthy. I'll stick with my dannon stuff. ;)

Sorry your day started out rough. Here's to a better week, momma!
