Hey Pudding Pop!

We had wonderful weather today here in lovely VA.  And I knew I wanted to do something fun with the boys outside, but didn't want to take them to the playground that is all the way on the other side of our neighborhood.

And I remembered an awesome activity I saw on Pinterest that I wanted to try.  Good ol' Pinterest!  You take one box of instant vanilla pudding, and add 2 cups of milk.  Whisk it for 2 minutes.  Let it sit for about 5 minutes.

Then, you scoop some pudding into a few different cups.  And then add food coloring and mix together.  Voila! Pudding paint!  Non-toxic, in case you have curious boys who want to put everything in their mouth like mine do.

Please excuse my deck.. it snowed here the other day and the snow is still melting.

A great way to keep the kids entertained for a little while!

That picture of Dom on the top right... I asked him to say cheese... haha.

What activities do you do to keep your kids entertained??

  2. I did this with Quinn once when I really needed to get stuff done and she was having a "day". She liked it, but ate most of it (she was just shy of a year, I think) so I'm glad it was just pudding and food coloring.
