Sunday Confessions v20

Hey Party Peeps!  Guess what? It's Sunday. Do you know what that means? I'll give you one guess... OK, I"ll just tell you. I'm linking up with Alyx for SUNDAY CONFESSIONS! woop woop!

1)  So, I know I've talked about this before, but I'm a grudge-holder.  And I hate it.  I need to stop and just learn to let go and forgive.  It's really exhausting being mad.  It's a new year, time for a new outlook.  More grace, more patience, more forgiveness.  Maybe more alcohol. ha! But definitely less negativity. Right? Right. SMILE!

I seriously hate this picture, why do I keep putting it here?
Because I'm a CHEESE-BALL! And no, my hair doesn't
still look like this, thank goodness!

2)  I am animal print obsessed.  I've had my eye on these boots for awhile, so I had to buy them as a Christmas present for myself.  Don't be jealous. ;)

Come follow me on Instagram!

3)  I always wonder if karma really is a bitch.  Because it doesn't seem like it.  People who do bad things rarely ever seem to get caught or punished.  I want to become a karma vigilante!! haha. But this wouldn't do well with my whole new outlook thing from #1. Le sigh.

4)  Sooo, you guys will probably hear about this a lot over the next couple of months because I'm depressed about turning 30 this year. But holy heck... I am turning 30 this year. That's 3 whole entire decades. I mean, somebody just pass me the prune juice and Geritol, no sense in waiting. Cryyyy.

5)  And last, but NEVER, ever least... I have another confession to make... I have a SUPER awesome, amazing, supportive lady to introduce you to.  Ladies and gentlemen, I give you Kelly from Messy.Dirty.Hair! Take it away, love!

Blog // Facebook // Twitter // Bloglovin

1) Kelly, I *LOVE* you and your blog. If there are people out there still living under rocks who haven't heard of your blog, tell them a little bit about Messy.Dirty.Hair and how to "Embrace the Mess!"

Messy.Dirty.Hair. came to be one day when I was bored at work. I was so sick of the usual 9-5 job that I needed to do something to get my creative juices out, so I thought i'd start a blog. The name came to be because my mom always would ask me why my hair was always so dirty and messy so it just fit. Embrace the mess came to be because I used to be that girl who had to wear makeup everyday & have my hair fixed perfectly. Then one day I just stopped & starting embracing my imperfections. Life can get messy & instead of complaining about it, just embrace it.

2) So, IF the Mayans are correct (and hopefully they aren't, or you guys will never read this post!), what is one thing you'd want to get accomplished before the end of the world?

Well since the world didn't end we're okay, phew! But if it did end that one thing that I would want to accomplish before the world ended is more of something I want to do - I have to travel to Europe & I have to see Paul McCartney in concert, then I can die happy.

3) What's the BEST Christmas present you ever received?

Any Christmas that I get a new purse sounds great to me. But this past Christmas I got my first Macbook Pro so that would probably be my favorite. I'm obsessed.

4) You're so gorgeous (hate you!! haha xo) and I love your style - who are some of your style icons?

Ohmygosh thank you, blushing. My style icons are Ashley & Mary-Kate Olson, Nicole Ricchi, and probably the one and only Rachel Zoe.

5) What's some advice you'd give to bloggers who are new to the blog world?

Do not be afraid to reach out to 'bigger' bloggers for help. I hear it all the time how newbies are scared to talk to the bigger ones & it drives me crazy because we are all JUST normal people. We're not Kim Kardashian, even though some bloggers like to think they are, they're not. So don't be afraid & if one doesn't respond, move onto someone else & have confidence in yourself & your blog.

6) Annnnddd, last but not least, Coke or Pepsi? Choose wisely, or you'll get a lump of coal. Haha jk. :)

I don't really drink soda anymore! I stopped over 5 years ago...I used to be addicted to Diet Coke but then I started using it as a chaser when I would take vodka shots & now I can't drink it without it tasting like vodka. But iced tea is my fave.

I mean... she's just awesome, isn't she?! I hope you guys will stop by her blog sometime and say hey! But FIRST, don't go just yet, Kelly is giving away a full nail kit which will include: a set of 3 nail polishes, files, clippers, & everything else you need to give yourself a manicure at home.
