Reading List for 2013

Well hello there, peoples!  It's Thursday, so time to link up with Jessica again for The Book Chat! This week's topic: Reading Resolutions for 2013.
I set a challenge for myself to read 30 books this year.  I'm currently reading this book (yes, still, I keep putting it off and reading other thing, but I'm going to finish it, dang it!):
Here are some of the books I plan to read for 2013, in random order:
1)  The Stand, by Stephen King
2) ALL Harry Potter books, by J.K. Rowling
3) Blog Inc, by Joy Cho
4) The Night Circus, by Erin Morgenstern
5) Safe Haven, by Nicholas Sparks
6) The Hunger Games, by Suzanne Collins
7) I'd Know You Anywhere, by Laura Lippman
8) The Disciple, by Stephen Coonts
9) The Alarmists, by Don Hoesel
10) Human Croquet, by Kate Atkinson
And if you're playing along at home, (ha! I've always wanted to say that!) you can click on the Reading List tab at the top of the page to see my reading progress for the year. I know, I know, you're so excited. ;)
What are some of the books on YOUR list? :)
Ciao!

  1. I have lots on my list. Right now I am reading Finding Emma by Steena Holmes. It's pretty good. I hope to try to read 75 books. I have a few on my kindle to read and one at home. I will make many trips to the library.

  2. Great list! I've read Safe Haven {awesome} and The Hunger Games {my absolutely favorite books EVER...you NEED to read them like now. You'll become addicted!}. I also have a goal to get back into reading this year. I used to be a reading fiend, and then I got really into blogging and the reading stopped. I want to change that. My first book on the list is Gone Girl. Love your new blog design btw :)

  3. Nice list yo! Are you on goodreads? Here's my profile if you want to add me: http://www.goodreads.com/user/show/14270320-rebecca-jaffe
I had another profile on there but I had cancelled it, then last onto made a new one. So a lot of my past reads aren't on there.

  4. 1. The Stephanie Plum Series (this is like 20 books!)
    2. The Hunger Games Series (haven't seen the movie or anything, thought I might as well jump on board - better late then never).

And, well, I'll be lucky to get through all of them! haha.

  5. I think after my book challenge is over (and I'm done with 11/22/1963) Night Circus is on the list. A lot of people love it and my secret life goal is to be in the cirucs so I'm sure I"ll enjoy it :D

  6. I LOVED "Safe Haven." I can't wait to see the movie when it comes out on Valentine's day. I'm a huge Harry Potter fan, so yay!!!! You will love them. I really want to read "Night Circus" too. I saw it at Target and it looks so good!

    Good luck!

  8. I hope you love Harry Potter! I've reread the entire series sooo many times, it never gets old! That will be something fun to share with your boys eventually, too!

  9. I read the first Hunger Games and loved it! Things have just been a little crazy, but I think I will start the second book tonight! I would also like to read the Harry Potter books. I thought I was the only person in the world who hasn't read them! Good luck!

  10. You must read The Hunger Games! And don't let the hype deter you. The movie was GREAT but the books are way better (naturally).
    Thanks for linking up!

  13. I really want to read all of the Game of Thrones series, but those books are so dang long, and I stupidly set a goal of 100 books for myself this year. Not sure if I'll be able to squeeze those ones in, but they're on the list for sure.
