It's the End of the Month

That title just reminded me of the Bone Thugz n' Harmony song, It's the First of the the Monthhhhh..... I'm totally aging myself here, haha.

Anyway, do you remember at the end of December, when I set 5 goals for myself for 2013?  Well, I thought, since most goals/resolutions fall by the wayside very shortly after they're made, that I would do an end-of-month recap every month to monitor my progress. How else am I going to stay on top of it, right? Well, here goes...

I'm well on my way to achieving this goal. I've already finished 8 books. Woohoo! :)

I'm also doing well on this goal.  I've been writing in my journal at least once a week. Just a great way to record what I'm feeling, what's on my mind, etc.

Yea... not so much on this one.  The most "nature" I experience lately is walking to and from the car when I'm going somewhere.  But it's also been really cold, so I'm going to use that as my excuse. ha! Hopefully when the weather gets a little bit warmer, I'll be able to do more.

I'm doing OK with this goal, but I know I could do more.  I've been trying to make a conscious effort to send Hubs little texts letting him know I'm thinking of him, or picking up a little treat at the store to bring back for him.  I even packed his lunch, but he kept forgetting to take it to work, so I ended up eating it, ha! We're hoping to get out for dinner one night soon, just the 2 of us.

Hmm. Well, as I mentioned before, I'm attending a blogger meet up this Saturday, which is definitely something I've never done before. So yay me! haha.

How are you doing on your goals/resolutions for the year?

  1. I love all of your goals -- especially the one about falling in love again. It's easy to feel like roommates when everyone's busy, doing their own thing.

  2. I'm in awe because of the books you've read! I always said I'd pick up books when I graduated from my specialist degree...I've read 2 1/2 thus far! Ha!

Other than that, I accomplished my #1 resolution...finish and survive running a 1/2 marathon...super bad ass!!!!

    Keep it up Mia!

Wow, you are a do-er....I don't believe I've seen anyone do this well on a resolutions list before! Congrats! Also, I'm so happy for you, that you are making an effort to improve your marriage. That's really smart of you:)
