Hairy Superstitious

So, if you're a fan of The Chronicles of Chaos on Facebook (and if you're not, what are you waiting for?), you might remember this status from last night:

Well, get ready, people! As promised, one of my crazy blog posts, coming right up:

So, ladies... you know how when you're in the shower, washing your hair, some stray strands of hair may fall out? Well... what do you DO with those hairs? And if you let them go down the drain, shame on you! haha. I lived in the dorms in college... and let me tell you there's nothing like standing in the shower and then the water starts coming up your ankles because the drain is clogged and filled with hair. BLECK.

So, back to my question: what do you DO with those pesky hairs? Well, do you wanna know what I do? I know, I know, you're so intrigued. Well, I will stick it up on the wall of the shower.  And after the shower is over, I'll gather it all up and throw it away. Responsible, considerate shower-er? Why, yes, yes I am.

But I don't just put them up on the wall any kind of way.  Oh no, sir. I have to put them all up horizontally. There will be NO vertical hairs on my shower walls, thank you hairy much! Shudder.

Not my hair or my shower... but it's horizontal, woooop!

Hubs suspects there may be something wrong with me. But I think you all already knew that. ;)

When do you do your best thinking? What are your crazy quirks? C'mon, I know you've got em!

And don't forget to check out this awesome giveaway!

Nighty night, friends!

  1. hahaha I do the same thing with mine. It is falling out like crazy right now from being pregnant so when I get out there is a small ball of it on the wall that I throw away after I dry off. I knew we were friends for a reason! ;)

  3. I don't have to worry about hair in the shower anymore, but when I did, I always stuck it to the shower wall, then cleaned it up after. I usually do my best thinking in the car when I'm driving alone and the radio is turned off. Most of my big revelations come about during those times.

  6. I do the same thing! haha. How funny. I also clean the drain afterwards but if I get a stray hair on my hand while washing my hair.. on the tile it goes. Hysterical. <3, amy

  7. I have a drain cover so I just scoop it up and toss it afterwards. I hate touching it though... makes my stomach queasy.

  8. Haha! I feel like I could make a wig out of the hair that comes off my head in the shower. I usually stick it on the wall too, but then I let it rinse down the drain. Months later my lovely hubby will have to unclog my hair from the drain. :)

  11. I lose SO much hair throughout the day. Shower, combing, putting it up in a ponytail, taking out the ponytail, etc. Jarrod is tired of unclogging drains so he said I have to start putting ALL my hair in the trash or the toilet. I'm a lazy bum so I wasn't happy, but whatevs. I need to do it. It's just so annoying, it's making me want to cut my hair again.

  12. LOL I used to put my hair against the tile too but the Mister kept complaining so now I just let it collect at the bottom and throw it away every week or so.

  13. Ha! This is hilarious! I actually place my hair on the edge of the tub until I'm done as I've experienced the whole water around my ankles thing...the hubby was not too happy about this experience! I do tend to think (& pray) a lot when I'm in the shower or when I'm rocking my daughter to sleep during nap time!
